Weddings aren’t a show to be staged—they’re stories told through honest moments and quiet connections. With a love for film and black and whites, we capture the raw beauty that can’t be scripted or checked off a list.

Hudson Valley Wedding Photographers

We're Rob and Kelly Villetto, a husband-and-wife wedding photography team with roots based in the Hudson Valley. Our approach blends documentary-style storytelling with an eye for the unscripted—capturing real, unposed moments as they naturally unfold.

We believe the best images happen when you're not aware of the camera. Our couples often tell us, "I didn’t even know you were there"-and that’s exactly the kind of presence we aim for. Quiet, observant, and always ready to catch the in-between moments that tell the real story of your day.

Our editing style is clean and timeless—less saturated, with a deep appreciation for black and white imagery and the nostalgic feel of film photography. We're inspired by honest emotion, natural light, and the unique rhythm of every couple we work with.

We photograph weddings across the Hudson Valley, from NYC to the Catskills, and everywhere in between.

If you're looking for wedding photographers who stay in the background but never miss a beat, we'd love to connect.

Why Film

I shoot film on wedding days because it sees differently. It slows things down, demands intention, and embraces imperfection. It’s not always sharp, not always perfect—and that’s exactly why I love it. There’s depth in film. Texture. A kind of honesty you can’t replicate. The grain, the softness, the subtle tones—they all remind me that the beauty in a moment isn’t in how polished it is, but in how real it feels.

In a world saturated with color, black and white photography whispers a quieter truth.

It strips away the distractions and reveals the heartbeat of a moment—raw, honest, timeless. In weddings, where emotions swell and time seems to blur, black and white frames become something more than memory. Black and white doesn’t just document love. It dignifies it. It reminds us that the most meaningful moments aren’t always loud or vibrant. Sometimes, they’re simple, silent, and stunning in their sincerity. And in that grayscale world, love is never dull.
